About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda Sheppard  - a lifelong pianist and music enthusiast, dedicated to nurturing confidence through piano instruction. With over a decade of experience teaching students from ages 5 to 21, I specialize in helping beginners and intermediate pianists build strong musical foundations in a supportive and engaging environment.

My background includes a minor in Piano Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational and Professional Communication from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. While at UW - La Crosse, I served as a piano accompanist for the University Concert Choir and multiple student performers, gaining extensive experience in collaborative music.

Since moving to Madison in 2013, I’ve been actively involved in the musical community as a church pianist, vocalist, and piano teacher.

I strive to make music accessible and joyful - one note at a time.
